Skip Fidura - Corporate Blogging
Skip Fidura has been in marketing for over twelve years, having worked in contact centres, direct marketing, customer analysis, and digital marketing. He founded Digital Impact's London office in 2000 and has worked with brands such as hp, Intel, Odeon Cinemas, Le Méridien Hotels, Microsoft, and Travelocity.co.uk on projects that have incorporated digital print, email, web site design and build, SMS, and search marketing. It was also during this period that he was listed by Revolution Magazine as one of the 50 most influential people in new media.Skip recently joined OgilvyOne with a remit to develop an Email Practice, in the London office. This practice will leverage email as the backbone of all things digital by focusing on developing email marketing communications strategies, applying industry best practices, and analysing campaign metrics to improve the email marketing efforts of OgilvyOne's clients.
Skip is also an active member of the UK DMA. He has been a member of the Email Marketing Council since it was a stand alone organisation called the Email Marketing Association. Since the merger with the DMA he has been the Chairman of the Deliverability working group for three years, the Vice Chair of the Council for two years, and has worked with the benchmarking working group on both the provider and client benchmarking reports.
Skip received a BA in Political Science from Roanoke College and a MBA from the College of William and Mary both in the U.S.
