Dela's passion for email dates back to his time at Excite, which was then a leading internet portal, where he was one of the company's first directors in Europe. Whilst there, he worked closely with UKNet Year on a groundbreaking initiative to develop free, child-friendly and safe email addresses for all UK school pupils. He has pioneered the development of email as a mainstream marketing channel ever since.
As one of its earliest advocates, Dela is fully conversant with the legal, commercial and technical issues surrounding email marketing.
